Observation details
Previously found by Kayo Roy. We found the Red Knot in a group of shorebirds. The bird was very obviously larger and "chunkier" than the Least and Semipalmated sandpipers, Sanderlings, and Semipalmated Plovers. It had lighter, greenish legs, a white eyebrow with a dark eyeline. It was not in breeding plumage and was a lighter gray color on the back and white with streaking under the throat and belly. The bill was about the same length as the width of its head, dark, straight, and thick'ish. Photos below.
