Media notes
This is the full-frame photograph; my binocular view at the time is slightly better than this, but this was the actual photograph taken with my 400mm lens. The Razorbill appears at center, with a Red-breasted Merganser barely visible to its right. A Northern Gannet is flying over just to the right of the RBME. The Murrelet is not visible to the left of the Razorbill. The view above is heavily cropped from this photograph, which is why I'm including this right now.
Observation details
(Photograph not accepted by VARCOM as ANMU so changing to Alcid sp.). **Inadvertently found in photograph 15 Feb after going through hundreds of shots taken on Sunday, 12 Feb. Note that I unfortunately did not observe this bird in the field therefore it is not a countable species to me personally, but the validity of the record is highly important as this helps document the 1st record for Virginia found initially 6 Feb by Ned Brinkley & Bob Ake (See: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S34210565).
