Observation details
Continuing in Tecoma capensis (Cape honeysuckle) and Melaleuca viminalis (weeping bottlebrush). New World Oriole. Black hood and tail, dark orange chest and UTC, black wings with orange wingbar, and silver-gray bill. Upper back a mix of orange and black. Underside of tail has 6 pale crescents near tip. Spotted by John Callender. Bird alerted me to its presence in the Melaleuca by giving a few "chit" calls.
