NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial paired, breeding. (No young had yet been seen.) Small flocks (groups) foraging in the native (endemic) forest. Within these groups flocks the individual pairs do keep contact and when nesting--a flock will pass with the pair who then break from the flock to tend the nest. Females and young call with a high frequency "piping" note. Foraging individiual close (annotated "08.20"). Can hear bill snaps as it feeds. Other Behaviors: Establish Flock Contact, Mate.
