NOTES: (Stimulus for Sound: Natural (no playback), then playback own song.) This lark singing to the "song" of Caprimulgus poliocephalus was recorded and we heard it for some days--then again at a site (Mbobongi) where we were working at honeyguide netting in June we again heard it and again recorded it. Then it this one was collected [sic]--there maybe one other singing this song--but we have yet to check if this 1995 season sequence of the call note heard recorded. Playback did bring it up to the top of a helesheva bush--to give its long series of call notes--then into song. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
