NOTES: (Recordist's Tape #18A & B. Time: 1530-1615. Breeding Status: Breeding.) These were the calls of individuals returning to their breeding ground nest burrows in the afternoon--the paired ones would fly together past me calling and moving in complete unison in the wind, as they displayed together over the ground. See pages 86, 87, 88 of Edit book Mau 1 and field notebook p. 37 a & b, 38 a & b. Other Behaviors: Mate, Court.
