NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut #11. Bulk reel #526 EBRG captive birds. 203 tape. LN. a) 8:15 AM. Song by R. yellow. Quality: 1. Level: 0. NO PLANT NOISE! Although the birds usually tend not to sing without "noise" (i.e. the noise of the light plant, passing vehicles, heavy rain,, etc. seems to inspire them to sing), today they sang a fair amount, suggesting that the hormonal "pressure" may be building up. R. yellow used more of the "regular" song motifs today. b) 8:30 AM. Probably L. orange; however, last part may (almost surely it is) be of L. green to judge from poorly patterned song. Quality: 1. Level: 0. c) 9:10 AM. L. green; in middle and latter part R. yellow cuts in with brief, loud bits of song. Quality: 1. Level: 0. d) R. yellow.
