NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut #10. Bulk reel #526 203 tape. LN. EBRG captive birds. a) Song by L. orange. Quality: "2". Level: +3. 3.75 ips. b) Song by R. yellow. Quality: "1". Level: +2. 7.5 ips. c) Song by R. yellow with L. orange in background. Quality: "1". Level: 0. 3.75 ips. R. yellow's song is louder, not only because it's closer to the mike but also because the bird's voice is naturally louder. Note that although the birds had not been singing much, or at all, in the afterhoons, on 25 Dec 1973 as result of a heavy rain all three lineola and S. plumbea began to sing profusely. On 26 December, song was a little less than normal in early AM but ~ 10:00 all the birds sang profusely.
