This is a small sample of the large flocks of BHCO that were visiting the Art Park today. There are over 125 in this photo and many more BHCO were on other parts of the lawn and in the trees
Observation details
Surprisingly large flock of males and females, mostly males. Landed on metal sculptures, then on the Ellipse lawn, in the parking lot area. Stayed for at least 20 minutes during the observation time. Recorded the sounds, too.
