Observation details
Heard only. One very pleasing encounter with this very localized rare, bird. One sang, barely out of view (~25ft?), loudly and clearly for five or more minutes. The catbird you hear in the recording is there because the Albert's Lyrebird "called it in" by imitating a catbird. The mimids in the states can't do that. EDIT: Third bird found while reviewing recordings of Eastern Yellow Robin in 2018.
