Observation details
Continuing late individual. Larger than adjacent LESA, but considerably smaller than dowitchers. Short-legged look (and black legs) with a typical elongated dumpy shape with black primaries extending well beyond tail tip. These black primaries also contrasted heavily with the rest of the bird. Buffy-brown above with some darker centers to the scapular and covert feathers which were edged in lighter buff giving their typical scallop looking wing and back pattern. Buffy brown with diffuse streaking on the upper chest contrasted with the white belly and undertail coverts. The chin was a lighter white-buff than the upper chest.
