Observation details
Continuing birds. As soon as we got out of the car, one bird was calling from down in the canyon. Soon both adults flew up the hill and one fed a begging juvenile on the ground. They worked their way to the edge of the road and one was so close to me I couldn't even focus my camera on it. They flew across the road for a bit, then flew back down the canyon with one of the birds having a large grasshopper in its beak.
