NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 20. Bulk reel: 439; Extra cut length: 5:29This is same bird as in Cut 19), recorded on 175 tape for comparison. (Tried recording @ higher gain (presumably this recording was made @ higher gain --not sure of this -- than with 203 & is good) but much distortion and not saved.) Quality: 1. Level: -8. 175 tape. 15 ips. [Recordist indicated that he used a parabola but did not specify make/model.]Columba cayennensis in background (faint); T. leucomelas at end. Quality: 1. Level: -4. 7.5 ips.Good recording with much high-frequency sound. Also has cleanest background. This cont. directly on Reel 9.This is a direct continuation from Reel 8. Quality: 1. Level: -4.T. leucomelas faint in background. This song is not as good; apparently bird was tiring. Quality: 1. Level: -3, -6. 175 tape. 15 ips.
