Observation details
Continuing, with Dowitchers on Thoreau Pond. Juvenile shorebird with long yellow legs and thin bill with distinctive slight droop at the tip. Smaller and slimmer than Dowitchers, feeding similarly. Bill shorter than that of Dowitchers, longer than bill of Lesser Yellowlegs. Plain unmarked underparts, upperparts with neat feather edges making a scaly appearance, with a few plain gray feathers coming in. Photos.
