NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 27. Bulk reel: Weather: clear (moon). I was on site at 5:05AM. At approximately 5:20AM I heard a display far in distance; at aproximately 5:25AM I heard 2 more displays a bit closer. The first sounds recorded were grunts by a fairly nearby bird (Micrastur semitorquatus also heard). A display by a different bird is heard in background near end of this. Quality: 2(-3). Level: +10. Parabola: 36". Then after delay of aproximately 2 minutes (edited out) are heard more displays. Quality: 2. Level: +10. Then other sounds, including bird flying and voice comments. Then "crows" of birds in hackground. (There have been displays on all sides but not in my general vicinity). Quality: 2. Level: +10. At 5:35AM Now hoarse calls by a bird (different individual) near to me; bird sailed and flew across road; voice comments. Quality: 2. Level: +10. Actually, this AM I was down (North) the road aproximately 300m, at the place where most of the crowing activity was taking place the last 2 mornings. But today, after the last recording above, the birds actively crowing were approximately 200-300m more to the west. At 5:50AM 1 flight scream by a bird up where I had been the last 2 mornings and afternoons. Quality: 2. Level: +10.
