NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 22. Bulk reel: 372. Weather: fair. [Data show that this recording occurred at 6:25pm and at 5:30am on 3July1968. Voice announcement of "5:30am" is at 7min30sec into recording. Data also indicate 3 sections in the recording.mf] a)Crows and typical chatter; birds at some distance. Quality: 2. Level: +10. Parabola: 36". b)at 5:30am, same place, next morning. I was there starting 5:05am. The first sound was a crow (in distance) at 5:23am. At 5:25am this group starting typical chatter (soft) and other calls (including some that apparently correspond to "grunt-growls of purpurascens. Quality: 2-3. Level: +10. These calls gradually increased in volume and at places become excited. Then crows, etc. During whole time I heard no "wing-whirr" display. Quality: 2. Level: +5.
