NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 22. Bulk reel: 351 208 tape. 6:48 AM to ~7:30 AM. Bird #3. Advertising song (= "typical" short phrases) when the bird returned and began to sing again from close to main dawn song perch. Quality: "1". Level: +3. 7.5 ips. LN. (Note that the high amplitude part of song overloaded much more @ 7.5 ips than at 15 ips. There is, however, some @ 15 ips. Quality: "1". Level: +3. 7.5 ips. LN. Although bird's song is the same,at one place some different calls are heard. (I heard them also before that but did not record.) Quality: 1. Level: +3. 15 ips. LN. Note: I returned to this site 23 Sept 1976 and checked area from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM and again at dawn of 24 Sept and could find no trace of this species.
