Media notes
note rippled layering of neck feathers, thick neck, large head with heavy jowls, and heavy, deep-based bill - all characters derived from a domestic goose (white, domestic Graylag Goose?) with a heavier build than even a large Canada Goose subspecies. Did I mention orange bill and near orange orbital ring.
Observation details
Continuing resident near albino - widely reported as a leucistic Canada Goose. Flew in w/ group of Canada Geese. More photos: close--ups of neck and head - note rippled layering of feathers on neck - character of Graylag Goose but not in Canada goose
