Observation details
Appears to be a juvenile male due to size. Larger then the snipe and lesser yellowlegs that it was foraging with. Head and face were plain looking with maybe a slight hint of a buffy wash. Bird had a brown crown that extended down the nape to the top of the mantle. Bill was short and black. It appeared to be slightly dropped at the tip. Mantle and wing feathers were edged with a cinnamon orange color. Throat and top off breast had very faint ochre buffing on them. Bird was dumpy in appearence. It had the posture of a long-billed dowitcher but was the size of a yellowlegs. This bird has now been present at this location for a week.
