Media notes

Songs from an adult male bird perched near the top of a tall spruces. The first (and longest) cut is from a tree along the road, and for most of that bout it was sitting in the open. At 3:10 another adult male flew in very close to the singing bird, and both birds switched to calling. The bird that flew in gave the majority and loudest calls, while fluttering its wings rapidly. The original bird starts singing again around 3:53 before flying off around 4:15 (and singing in flight). The latter cuts are from that same bird as it sat on the tops of various dead spruces about 70m in from the road.
