Heard and seen at close range. Recorded at a distance of about 40 meters using Song Meter Touch.
Observation details
One was along Manzanita Ridge downhill from the junction with the Toll Road in nearly the same spot where I found one on the 2024 CBC. The other was eating mistletoe berries in a canyon live oak at the Toll Road/Manzanita Ridge Trail junction. It warbled a few times. Photos of the first one.
