Media notes
Bird 1 - note small speculum. This bird was seen to go the nest, so I'm tentatively assuming this is the female of the pair. Her breast feathers seen tatty.
Observation details
Adult (bird 1, possibly adult female) seen foraging on ground - small white speculum, base of uppertail looked dark, with some white at sides. Seen plucking fruit from Boneseed. Flew up to nest in River Red Gum. 20 minutes later a second adult (Bird 2, possibly adult male) - large white speculum, some white in uppertail base - seen nearby foraging on ground. Picked up a reddish item, not sure what - looks like fungi. (Mabo family)
