Observation details

Two owls today compared one seen last week with Jim Speicher. Many thanks to Leslie Carpenter for sending these excellent photos taken before my arrival at this spot as the owls were active since 4:30 pm. All these photos were taken by her. My OM-1 could not handle low light inflight shots. This is becoming a popular spot. Please do not park or walk on owner's property which is on the west side. There is enough space to park on the east side shoulder of the Harley Road. The area over which the owls are flying is a private property. Owner was not friendly based on earlier experience when the owls were first spotted in January 2025.
