Observation details

Continuing bird. Black face; strong black side stripe on white underparts. Cap and upper parts blue, some very subtle olive mottling visible on back. Bird was observed for a total of about a quarter of an hour over three episodes in a total time of about an hour. During the longest period under observation (over 10 minutes), the bird was observed feeding on berries on the embankment near the brick cooking area in Turtle Park. The bird also checked under the east eaves of the low building on the patio, presumably for insects or spiders. I heard "tschup" calls only while the bird was foraging on the building. Photos.
