Observation details

Huge flocks of MOCH in the mountains this winter. We encountered numerous large flocks along the Challenge Trail. One flock included a minimum of 50 birds. Each flock had a few nuthatches and some Gray-headed Juncos with it. Two flocks with one Brown Creeper each. One flock with a Hairy Woodpecker. Phenomenal numbers unlike anything I’ve seen before.
