Observation details
Very foggy. Lots of black vultures and turkey vultures roosting together on a powerline tower and an adjoining tree. Counted 108 individuals that were visible. Some were standing with wings open to warm themselves, most were just roosting. Some were too far away to identify at the species level but I picked a group of 20 I could identify and counted and they were roughly half turkey vulture half black vulture so I divided the total count in half between the two species.
