Observation details
I originally believed this to be a 2nd Cycle Masked Booby, but the dark shawl and faint but visible white feather in tail is making me rethink Nazca, but Merlin doesn’t like that. The only other Nazca I’ve seen was on San Deigo pelagic last year and it was very similar to this bird. I’ll be happy if it stays Masked, as that would be a lifer too.
