Observation details

Nice! Francisco and I saw a flycatcher type bird perched on the top of a dead tree and he suggested (I think jokingly?) that we check to see if it was the OSFL that had been seen in the area recently. As soon as it was in the binoculars the classic “vested” appearance of the breast was visible on an otherwise drab colored flycatcher. We pulled the scope out and took some photos. Very upright postured flycatcher pretty much exclusively dark brown except for throat and line extending from the throat along the belly. Was nice to catch up with this bird so far from the usual place I see it in the North American Summer. Phots are fairly backlit but still diagnostic.
