Observation details

Observed a small flock of White Wagtails along the water’s edge. Slim black-and-white birds with long tails, frequently wagging the tail while walking. Foraged actively on the shoreline by walking and repeatedly pecking the bill into shallow water, likely taking small aquatic invertebrates. Very wary; moved together when disturbed. Seen mostly on open ground at the waterline.
