Observation details

Adult first seen at street level as I got out of car. I only noticed how broad the wings were and for some reason thought Pileated rather than hawk. When I got inside the view from 3rd floor showed an adult Red-shoulder. Chased off after about 15 minutes by one or more Blue Jays. This photo is from ground looking up at him.
