Observation details

Started our observation at the eastern part of the rocky area just before the sand beach. The first penguins started to emerge at 21:11. Stayed there for an hour before we started to walk towards the western part of the colony, counting individuals that were up the little hill and at their nest with their young. We were careful not to double count the penguins (we already counted many of them when they first got out of the water). Heard a lot of pairs/little groups calling near the parking lot and further West (counted 2 individuals per group unless a third was heard distinctively). Amazing evening overall!
