Departure at sunrise as the full moon sets in the west.
Observation details
Guesstimate. (So many had already taken off that I saw while driving and are not included here - a silhouette line of cranes across the eastern sky before sunrise! Amazing panoramic scene!) Many were still on the ground and many were taking flight at a continuous pace during my entire visit. Departing to forage.
