Observation details
First spotted by Wendy in a large cottonwood near the Memorial Park put in spot. It was loosely associating with chickadees and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. The warbler was tiny in size with a very short tail, and sharp pointy bill. Our group got some great views of it! We noted its bright yellow throat with some orange streaking on it, pointing towards it being a male. We also could see its strong white wings bars, olive green back patch, white outer tail feathers, and broken white eye arcs. The bird had a grayish blue head and rump and had a whitish belly. Digibin photos attached. A special bird for our Christmas Bird Count today!
