Observation details

Presumed immature male bird continuing in the creek. No facial crescent, but iridescent blue/purple head, and the very distinctive and, one might even say, bizarre head shape characteristic of the species. Loosely associating with Hooded Mergs and Bufflehead just west of the middle pedestrian bridge, approximately here: 40.908409, -73.252393
