Adult female by molt clines in remiges, tail and tail-fork lengths. Commencing PB with head and back feathers but p1 not dropped yet.
Observation details
Foraging in cove below trailhead. Worn adult female. Remiges show molt limits and tail the right length for this and too long for first-cycle bird. Old worn brown head and back feathers being replaced by newer feathers but p1 not dropped yet.
