Observation details
34.176479,-117.988660 Google Maps or GPS signal here is being weird so you want to supplement the GPS coordinates with the following instructions: uphill almost to the end of the park, and park near the nature center. Then, find a small bridge over a dry creek that is among the Deodar Cedars, and walk east from the Nature Center over that small bridge into a large open dirt area that has five green wooden picnic tables. The peewee is quite cooperative and perches out in the open and calls incessantly, 100 ft east of here. This bird looks like an oversized Western Wood Pewee. It lacks the strongly vested look and the lower mandible is all orange.
