Observation details

watching wood peckers when spotted the thrush land in the branches piled on top of the bird bath. It ate a couple of mountain ash berries from the branches, posed for a picture and then flew off; pictures to follow; round head, plumage puffed against the cold, reddish tale, spotted upper chest, faint white eye ring
