Observation details

XC1065863; Vocalising from power line just overhead. A male Red-winged Blackbird was perched 4m away on the power lines singing and likely calling in the background. Starling's imitations include: Red-tailed Hawk, Spotted Towhee, Grey Plover, American Robin, Hutton's Vireo, California Quail (pretty sure it was the starling), and Red-winged Blackbird. The hawk and towhee imitations fooled both me and Merlin.
