Observation details
Large groups moving through; about 80 landed in the parking lot. Some loafed and sang softly from treetops, others began feeding on a fruiting Pyracantha (Firethorn) . In Europe and Asia, Pyracantha is a favored food source for other thrushes in the Turdus genus.
