Observation details
Tour guide said a group of 6 were Kashmir Nutcrackers and a lone Spotted Nutcracker. I understand the Spotted Nutcrackers are now considered to be Northern Nutcrackers which are not listed as being in Bhutan. The so-called Kashmir Nutcrackers looked much like the pictures of the Northern Nutcrackers but neither looks like they should be in this area. The lone bird identified as a Spotted Nutcracker looks more like the Southern Nutcracker with its smaller size, solid black on top of the head, and brown mantel.
