Observation details

Initially, we found two individuals foraging together on a large boulder field. They were moving upslope, hopping and feeding among the exposed rocks. We watched them well, took photos, and made audio recordings. Later, on our way back down, we detected a third individual near the base of the same rocky outcrop. This bird was alone and also foraging among the rocks. Because the observations happened in the same general area but involved two birds together and another one separated from them, we counted three individuals in total.
