Observation details

Photos. At first thought maybe a very dark RWBL because this bird seemed just a tad on the pale side compared to some of the recent birds I’ve seen, but photos show otherwise. Dark brown/gray blackbird lacking any rufous tones. Dark streaking turning to more thorough dark smudginess eventually on lower belly. Frosty white edge to wing bars, and white throat. P9 about the same length as p6, and even tail feather length. Bill also appears on the thinner side. Nape and back equally brown/gray to the breast. Light gray edging on undertail coverts. Flew in with a group of RWBL along the creek section and then departed back to the NW on its own, while the flock remained. Would be first count day record for Dallas CBC if it sticks around.
