Observation details
Photos. All yellow below, with tints of orange on the throat and crissum. Faint wingbars. Modest bill, darker above and light below. Thin paler eyering. At Peavine and Watson Lake Loop Trail just NE of Captains Trail head. Oaks and pinyons. Returned home to study many tanager photos, and it is closest to an immature male, just starting to get some warmer colors.
