Observation details
A pair and a group of 3. Photos of 2-3 individuals. Update as I haven't recorded them on Ebird in 5 weeks... As long as I've been present the pair is seen everyday feeding in the backyard since mid-September. Today I found them in a specific area of the wash where I can find them every time. This is where they like to move around the same group of mesquites, spend time preening and possibly where they are caching food. The group of 3 is a different area of the wash where I've had several encounters but have never seen more than one bird at a time. I've suspected there are 6 birds spread across the wash and today's number is the highest total I've been able to prove since their first arrival to the wash on September 4th.
