Observation details

In the same paddock identified earlier in the day by Bernadette but closer to the intersection to Carey Rd. They were quite a distance off from the road and were quite a strain to see via bins - a scope would have been much better. The photos are pretty indistinct - through the bins, the birds looked more gracile, lightish brown and smaller than the banded lapwings seen around. Could only see 2 birds so the others must be further away or well hidden.
