Media notes

Recorded in Merlin which thinks it can hear Mallard at start of recording - actually Pacific Black Duck. Recording also contains squeaky calls of juvenile Australasian Swamphens and, of course, Aust Reed Warbler - neither of which are recognised by Merlin.

Additional species

  • Pacific Black Duck Anas superciliosa
  • Noisy Miner Manorina melanocephala
  • Australasian Swamphen Porphyrio melanotus
