Observation details

Single dark Ibis amongst 60 White Ibis. Bluish white line across forehead extending half-way around the eye. Dark eye but not deep brown (more chestnut). Bill grayish. I believe this may be a Glossy Ibis x White faced hybrid for the following reasons, which indicate possible Glossy parentage: " Pale blue-gray skin bordering facial skin on Glossy Ibis may be confused with white feathering of White-faced, but note blue-gray lines of Glossy do not extend behind eye. In winter, also note that White-faced lacks blue-gray line between eye and bill present on Glossy" "Facial skin of Glossy Ibis is plumbeous, margined above and below with very pale sky blue"
