Observation details

Spotted foraging high up in a cottonwood in a nice stand of cottonwood/willows along the river here 33.55745° N, 111.57998° W. The bird appeared to be a female and was foraging with a mixed species flock, and a challenge to get good views in the foliage. Field marks were the gray throat, dark gray auriculars framed by white and clean grayish underparts. The lower mandible appeared to be mostly pale, long and spiky with a dark tip, and the wings had contrasty yellow panels. Photos.
