Observation details

Awesome find by Simon and Simone - and talk about a great yard bird. A big thanks to them for allowing prearranged visitation to birders. Continuing rarity refound by Daniel in the backyard trees then observed at the feeders for a couple of minutes. I later relocated the bird in conifers along Rudd Park where it was associating with a chicklet and junco flock. Relatively large warbler with bright yellow throat, intricate yellow and olive pattern on head and breast and grey wings with distinct white wing-bars. My species #375 for the Victoria area (Capital Region).
