Observation details

Almost certainly more; this tally is of the most I could account for at one time along the northern border of the park as they flew about and sparred or perched. Lots of activity but, surprisingly, I did not see any full displays. One female held her position in an alcove inside a ?magnolia at the north edge of the park off Pierce St.(weird tree, looking a bit like a cross between a bay laurel and a pittosporum, with large flower buds), while one male held position near the top of the tree (the two did not interact, as far as I could tell).
